States Made is a full-service merchandise partner for nonprofits, political campaigns, and socially conscious brands. We believe in the power of a well-designed t-shirt to raise vital funds and increase awareness of important issues. We create legitimate e-commerce stores for each of our partners, using best practices for merchandising, marketing, UX and design.

Who We’re Seeking

We are looking for a Customer Service Manager with impeccable written and verbal communications skills. Someone who lives for giving folks a good experience and making people’s day – and can meticulously manage the behind the scenes systems.

Your Role

  • Responding to our clients’ customer inquiries

  • Working with vendors to solve problems for individual customers 

  • Elevating any trends to concerns to the greater States Made team

  • Owning the customer service ticket tank and ensuring it’s well organized

Our Ideal Candidate 

  • 1-2 years working in a customer service related role

  • Great communicator who cares deeply about a well-crafted and grammatically-correct e-mail

  • A self-starter – you don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do and ask for help when stuck 

  • You aren’t afraid of a little ambiguity and you thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Passionate about progressive causes and social good – and the shoppers who are, too! 

This is a part-time/freelance position. We’re looking for someone who can dedicate 10-15 hours a week during fairly regular time slots, with possible increase during holidays. 

  • Fully remote! 

  • Flexible hours, but need to attend a weekly 11:30AM ET meeting 

  • Hourly rate is $18-$22 depending on experience

  • Must have your own laptop and dependable internet
